My main research interests include machine learning, deep learning, and network science. I obtained my PhD dissertation under the direction of Tijana Milenković in the Complex Networks (CoNe) Lab at the University of Notre Dame. My current work focuses on using machine learning and computer vision for various applications including object detection and recognition, face recognition, and medical image analysis.

I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) from the University of Notre Dame in 2017, in which I worked in the areas of network science and bioinformatics. I recieved my M.S. in CSE from Notre Dame in 2012, in which I worked in the areas of face recognition and computer vision. I received my B.S. in Physics and Mathematics (double major) from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech) in 2009.
